Victoria is a late comer to the world of triathlon, having only discovered it through her fundraising endeavours in 2017, following the tragic passing of her young daughter.

​

During her 20s, she was a keen runner and completed a number of marathons including London, New York and Honolulu, but like many working mums, lost her way in sport.

​

Now in her 40s, a secondary school teacher by trade and a mum of five young children, she has rediscovered her passion for a healthy lifestyle and living by example, thorugh endurance racing, primarily to support the invaluable work of many great charities and to encourage other older women back in sport. 

​

Victoria is also an ambassador for Tri365, a global network for triathletes.

​

2017 witnessed her first half marathon at Silverstone Race Circuit, where she achieved a 6th place in her age group, and through this has qualified  for a GFA place at the 2018 Big Half. 2017 was also her returning debut to the world of marathons, achieving a GFA at London and a place for the 2018 event, where she hopes to better her time still.

​

Victoria also had her first foray into triathlon, starting with IM70.3 Weymouth, and in 2018 she will be competing at IM UK, as well as a number of other 70.3 events and cycling sportives.
