Tom, who is originally from Cardiff but now lives in Scotland, started his road to triathlon events after watching the Olympics in 2016 and being inspired by Team GB and the cycling team. Tom purchased a road bike and has not looked back since.

An avid sports fan, who loves most sports and competition, entered his first triathlon in May 2017. That year Tom competed in over 7 Triathlon events in a range of distnaces as well as competing in other events such as 'Pedal for Scotland' (71.2km ride) and the 'Spartan' race series.  Tom’s best finish to date was 4th in the Ambleside Novice Tri.

In 2018, Tom has set the bar high for himself, with over 20 races on the calendar - 11 Triathlons (Sprint and Olympic) 3 Duathlons, 2 Half Marathons, 1 Aquathon, 2 Velothons and the end goal IM70.3 Weymouth. If time permits Tom will also look at competing in the Spartan race series.  All of this is in the name of charity as he looks to raise money for Ty Hafyn Children’s Hospice.

Tom admits he has a lot of work to do, but whether it’s a race or a simple ride, Tom is looking forward to the challenges ahead.

“I am delighted to be a brand ambassador and hope I can support the other ambassadors in bringing some personal success to CES Sport”

Best of luck for the season Tom
