Sue is a Royal Air Force Physical Training Instructor and Exercise Remedial Therapist currently based in Cyprus. She has been competing in triathlons since 2004 whilst also competing to a high level in Tennis, competing for the RAF & Combined Services teams before concentrating solely on Triathlons in 2010. She competes for the RAF Triathlon team and RAF Cycling teams whilst currently completing the High Performance Coaching Program Level 3 BTF course.

Sue also the RAF Triathlon Head Coach!

Some of her finest achievements to date have been as follows:

4th in European AG Championships

11th in World AG Championships

2nd AG Outlaw Half

3rd AG Challenge Paguera

Sue also became the first female to complete the Race Across Europe, a 3000 mile bike race across Europe as part of a team!

Sue was voted 2nd in 220Triathlon AG Awards and was also voted Herefordshire Sports Woman of the Year. Blimey!!

She spends considerable time helping, volunteering and organising events, whereby helping at Llangorse Lake Big Swim in 2017 was instrumental in the rescue and immediate care of a swimmer suffering full cardiac and respiratory arrest, whereby she was subsequently awarded Air Officer Commanding 22 Training Group Commendation and mentioned in HM Queens Birthday Honours List 2018 Military division (Click to read more) Very happy to say the swimmer made a full recovery.

After a mixed season in 2018 whereby she came 3rd overall in Larnaca Olympic Distance race and 5th overall, 2nd AG in April Joke Half Distance race before burning out later in the year trying to do too much, so she is now focusing on the 2019 season completing as many of the Cyprus events as possible, with Ironman Zurich in July her main focus with Ironman Copenhagen in Aug.

From here she will then decide the remainder of the season.
Sue also coaches several athletes, whilst completing her busy job rehabilitating military personnel and is currently organising a large cycling event around Cyprus.

So no rest for Sue as she looks forward to an exciting season ahead. She is extremely proud to be supported by CES Sport this year, along with existing sponsors RaceSkin, Zone3, SockMine & CurraNZ.

An exciting season ahead.
