BB30 is where bike designers learned to expand the bottom bracket shell so they could create better frames. This BB30 Ultra-Torque bottom bracket adapts the 42mm inner diameter, 68 or 73mm wide shell to Campagnolo's popular Ultra-Torque cranks.

CeramicSpeed bearings come with the two-piece bottom bracket. The first option is our low drag, long life standard bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super round CeramicSpeed Balls. Second is our coated bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag.

    The 25mm diameter Ultra-Torque spindle has the bearings installed on the spindle resting against the arms. A removal/installation tool is necessary; we sell one here, but any appropriate tool will work.

    CeramicSpeed standard bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set with standard grease. Approximately a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bb's. Our ceramic balls are 400% smoother, 128% harder, and 58% lighter than steel balls. They also last at least three times longer than other bearings.

    Coated Bearings further improve performance. The coated races see a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60%.

    Changing grease tunes performance. All Round Grease comes installed, but can be swapped for lower drag TT and Track Grease, or higher durability LongLife Grease, which stays in better riding in messy conditions.
