Laura Addie
Laura's triathlon career only began 3 years ago when she competed in her first 'Go Tri' whilst at University, having previously competed in gymnastics and trampolining to National level. It's fair to say, she caught the bug!
That same year she qualified for the Age Group Sprint World Championships where she achieved 4th place.
In 2018 she stepped up to Ironman 70.3 distance where she came away with 8th place at the World Championships in South Africa.
2019 saw a further step up in distance when she decided to race at Ironman Vitoria in July, where she took the AG win, qualifying her for the Ironman World Championships in Kona! Here she walked away with the top spot in her age grpup and an Ironman World Championship title to her name!
This 2020 season Laura is racing Challenge Salou, Marbella 70.3 and the Challenge Championship where she aims to get her pro licence before heading back to Kona in October to race for another Ironman World title.
